Osmo End Grain Sealing Wax is especially suited for the end grains of decking made of hard and softwoods, such as Bangkirai, Teak, Massaranduba, Garapa, Cumaru as well as Pine, Spruce, Douglas Fir, Larch, Cedar, Thermowood etc.

NUMBER OF COATS
Two coats on an untreated substrate; for renovations, normally one coat on the clean surface is sufficient.

  1. Apply first coat generously, wet on wet, on raw end grain approx. 150-200 ml/m².
  2. Drying time approx. 3-4 hours (normal climatic conditions, 23 °C/ 50 % rel. humidity). Lower temperatures and/or higher humidity can increase drying time. Ventilate well.
  3. Second coat approx. 150-200 ml/m².
  4. Drying time approx. 3-4 hours; see point 2.
